Our normal activities are open to all. We offer them as a service to the general public, whether they wish to become Baha'is or not. The core activities are devotional meetings, study circles, children's classes, and junior youth classes.
The Baha'i community in Northamptonshire is very small - but growing! We have to pool the resources available in the County to make our activities sustainable. Some of the core activities may not be available at all times, but we shall make every effort to meet any special requests.
So please get in touch!
Devotional meetings are held in Broughton, Wellingborough, Brixworth and Northampton. They are open to all.The Baha'i Community Choir meets in Wellingborough on Friday evenings from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. About half of those who attend regularly are not registered Baha'is. Come and join in the fun!
Informal meetings or "firesides" are held to discuss the teachings of the Faith with interested friends and neighbours.
Formal presentations: Please contact me if you would like to arrange for a formal presentation to your group.
Home Visits: If you would like someone to visit you at home, perhaps say a prayer and talk about spiritual matters, we can arrange a visit to suit your convenience.
Joining the Baha'i Faith: Baha'is are happy to welcome new members. You are a Baha'i if you believe that Baha'u'llah is the Messenger of God for today and agree to follow His laws and teachings. There is no baptism or ritual involved. Simply contact your local Baha'i Community to register.
